I’m Ali Burns, from Musselburgh on the outskirts of Edinburgh in Scotland. I’m a songwriter and composer for the community choir sector with a parallel practice as an artist, maker and creative.
After 30 years of natural voice work I’m still fired up and absolutely in love with the process of writing. I also really enjoy one-to-one mentoring sessions in Songwriting for Choirs.

SongTribe is a big, hearty choir made up of keen singers. We don’t perform very often – perhaps just once or twice a year but enjoy learning repertoire and keeping our rehearsals dynamic and fun!
7-9pm on Wednesday evenings following Scottish school term dates. Doors are open at 6.30 for tea, coffee and chat
