This friendly, time-limited choir meets for 10 sessions every autumn. It’s open to all and takes place in The Makerspace at Portland Works. This is a 150- year -old industrial building and the birthplace of stainless steel. It’s still in use by local makers and craftspeople and is located in Little Sheffield, just behind London Rd. The Makerspace is the room where the buffer girls used to work and now it’s a beautifully restored space with lots of ventilation and good acoustics for singing.
