Additional information

I am a singer, vocal coach and singing for health practitioner. I am passionate about helping people to sing, to bring out their best voice and enjoy the health benefits of singing.

In my vocal coaching, I offer one-to-one singing tuition virtually or in person, which is suitable for all adults and children. Whether it’s for fun or to perform (or both, since performing should be fun!), coaching sessions are tailored to the individual. I have taught and run singing sessions for 10 years across all ages, from primary school age to the elderly and virtually across the globe including California, New York, France, Italy and all over the UK.

I am a recent recipient of Arts Council funding for my jazz vocals, performance writing and arranging. I am lead singer of a jazz trio and a vocalist in gospel-soul-jazz band The Grace Notes. I have performed at public and private events across Cornwall and beyond, from sell-out audiences at Trebah Garden Amphitheatre to functions at the Torquay Riveria International Centre. I have toured with Carn To Cove arts company and performed at Porthleven Food and Music Festival, St Ives September Festival, Falmouth Week, Tall Ships Festival, Poly Falmouth Theatre, Pendennis Castle, Royal Cornwall Showground, the Cornwall Business Awards and at weddings and private events.

I run Singing for Wellbeing workshops for groups and staff days. I created Wild Singing Workshops and have taken these as far as Henley-on-Thames and the sell-out Port Eliot Festival for 3 years running, as well as the Budock Vean Hotel on the shore of the Helford Estuary, Foodjam and Wild Weekend at Enys Gardens, Trebah Gardens Summer Festival and Potager Garden and Cafe.

I am a trained Singing for Lung Health practitioner and was Singing Lead for Devon & Cornwall Alzheimer’s Society Singing For The Brain virtual group and in-person Truro group for people with dementia and their carers for 3 years. I also freelance as a music practitioner with Forget-Me-Not Chorus and Music For Good charities. I have run small community choirs, in indoor and outdoor settings.

I love singing and want to help others enjoy singing either coming together as a group or for themselves.
