I am Hannah, 32 years old, living in Freiburg in south-west Germany. Since summer 2020 I’ve been leading an open singing group (or “spontaneous choir” as I like to call it) which now takes place every Thursday evening. I have been singing in choirs, alone, and with friends since the age of 11.

I love singing, and coming together for singing. Years ago I got to know this way of singing harmonies in a group, learning by ear, open to everyone – since then I’ve been a huge fan. I soon found out that I’m really good at remembering tunes and lyrics. I began to collect songs from all over and started my own singing group. And I love it! Currently I’m taking every opportunity to learn more about voice, singing together and leading. I’m very much looking forward to getting to know this network and would be super happy to welcome other members to my spontaneous choir one day!
