Additional information

My background is in yoga, sound therapy (specialising in the voice, developing in the frame drum) and theatre training with a focus on the relationship between voice, mind and body.

I hold groups that vary in focus and adapt to the needs of the participants – I offer longer sessions that include a tailored warm-up involving the whole body, as well as traditional community singing. I’m a Singing Mamas song leader, offering local and upcoming online groups to women and mothers. I also guide mantra, meditation and harmonic overtone singing workshops.

My background, as well as my own journey, supports my ability to hold space for the process of voice opening, which is unique for every person. I offer one-to-one and group sessions for those who are more hesitant to sing.

I’ve worked with and been guided by lots of different performers, song carriers and story tellers in various capacities whilst developing my own voice, and bring aspects of those experiences to my groups, as well as songs gathered along the way from around the world.

I’m currently incorporating Gaelic songs into my repertoire under the guidance of Sine McKenna.
