I am a singer songwriter and experienced community choir leader. I have been leading choirs for 25 years and have been a singer always. I am currently Musical Director for Noteworthy Women in Baildon and one of the regular directors for Hull Freedom Chorus. I often work as guest director for other choirs and lead singing events. I was Musical Director for Wakefield Cathedral’s Praise Singers for 7 years and organised a variety of performances and one world music events for choirs and musicians. I love to travel and have been guest director and led workshops for choirs and music groups in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Sierra Leone and Sweden.
I am also a composer and arranger of choral pieces and have recently had commissions from the National Coal Mining Museum England and Hull Freedom Chorus. I was musician in residence at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park and the National Coal Mining museum England last year and worked closely on a project with the Quirky Choir in Doncaster as part of DNWeekeND festival.
