Camilo Menjura

Colombian musician [Guitarist, Choir Leader, Composer and arranger] based in the UK since 2006. Leader of the -SOAS University- “World Music Choir”, the “Landscapes of Latin-America Choir” [LOLCHOIR] and “Stapleton Singers”.

His work as a performer, session musician, workshop leader and choir master, lead him to be chosen as “Musician of the year” in two occasions in 2012 & 2013 in the Latin UK (LUKAS) Awards.

His latest projects include “12:42” from the National Opera Studio, as part of the team writing an aria for Colombian Soprano Julieth Lozano, composing three pieces of music for “MAKING SONG(S) PROJECT”, a creative initiative documenting the latest developments with the Latin American community around Elephant & Castle teaming up with virtuoso composer Eliane Correa, apart from numerous songs and videos with groups, singers and choirs  – especially during 2020.
