I am a choir leader and singer songwriter living in Hastings. I have a background in the Performing Arts and Education, having pursued several overlapping careers in acting, teaching, singing, choir leading and mentoring.
I set up my first community choir, Vocadonna, in Brighton where I lived between 1994 and 2005. I then moved to Hastings where I set up 2 further choirs: Shore Sounds and Robertsbridge Community Choir. Alongside my choir leading I was also teaching unaccompanied harmony singing to children and young people for the acclaimed Rhythmix music education project across Brighton and Hove, Surrey and East Sussex.
My greatest passion is for the human voice, in its simple unadorned beauty or in glorious multi-layered harmony, and singing is at the heart of everything I do, whether working with choirs and singing groups or in my own performances.
