Hello! I’ve been leading groups in harmony singing for over 15 years, in a variety of settings. My passion is facilitating safe and friendly spaces where people can feel free to express themselves. I aim to keep a good balance of accessibility and challenge in my events. There are no auditions and no need to read music at any of my groups or events.
As well as LOVING creating a beautiful sound, I am also passionate about singing as a tool for personal wellbeing, as well as as a group exercise, as a model of ways in which groups can work together to create something harmonious from several apparently discordant positions
I currently run 2 weekly drop-in groups; Come & Sing! on Monday mornings and Sing Out Your Song! on Thursday evenings. I also run monthly ‘Harmony Singing With Soul’ workshops in Chester and teach a Saturday morning workshop in Betws-y-Coed once a month, hosted by Conway Valley Voices. I am now also leading the SWAGG Chester Choir, which supports people who have been through cancer treatment and their friends and families.
I run workshops on request.
