I am a vocal coach and offer one-to-one singing tuition virtually or in person.
Suitable for males and females, adults and children. Whether it’s for fun or to perform (or both since performing should be fun!), coaching sessions are tailored to the individual. I have taught and ran singing sessions for ten years across all ages from primary school age to the elderly.
I am lead singer in a jazz trio and a vocalist in gospel-soul-jazz band The Grace Notes. I have performed at public and private events across Cornwall and beyond from sell-out audiences at Trebah Garden Amphitheatre to functions at the Torquay Riveria International Centre. I have toured with Carn To Cove arts company and performed at Porthleven Food & Music Festival, St Ives September Festival, Falmouth Week, Tall Ships Festival, Poly Falmouth Theatre, Pendennis Castle, Royal Cornwall Showground and at weddings and private events.
I run Wild Singing Workshops and have taken these as far as Henley-on-Thames for a birthday event and for three consecutive years at Port Eliot Festival.
Working with Alzheimers Society, I am Singing Lead for Devon & Cornwall Singing For The Brain group for people with dementia and their carers. Currently we run our sessions online due to covid-19 safety measures.
I also set up and run a community choir Samphire Choir, which we took outdoors and in small groups Summer 2019 also due to covid-19 safety measures.
