I am a professional singer, songwriter, composer, community musician, choir leader, performer, activist and trained music therapist. I have experience of working with children, young people and adults with wide-ranging needs and abilities and I have worked in educational, health, community and prison settings, including work with people with autism, learning difficulties, dementia and other social, emotional & mental health difficulties, and work with vulnerable adults with acquired brain injury.
I have been leading Moseley Voices Community Singing Group for fifteen years and since 2021 I have also been leading Cantare singing groups in Birmingham.
I write and arrange my own songs and other people’s songs and I love making people sing in harmony in a fun and relaxed way.
I also made lots of song videos over the Covid Lockdowns.
As well as choirs, I have led one-off workshops around the UK including at Wood Festival and Unicorn Voice Camp. I’m always interested in leading workshops in interesting places!
