Kirsty Martin

Kirsty is a choral composer, song leader and workshop practitioner. Kirsty is MD for the much loved Hullabaloo Community Quire in Brighton, as well as Raise the Roof in South London.

Recent projects include composing an anthem to celebrate the National Trust’s 125th anniversary and a choral collaboration with musician Vyvienne Long. Kirsty and Hullabaloo Quire are currently collaborating with jazz blues legend Liane Carroll.

A prolific composer and arranger for community choirs, Kirsty travels extensively to share her infectious and joyful funkysoulybluesyfolky vocal vision with singers nationwide!

Passionate about vocal harmony Kirsty has produced over twenty episodes of Vox Pop radio, a show that celebrates the natural voice and community singing, and features interviews with musicians such as Zap Mama’s Mahdia (Anita) Daulne, Helen Chadwick and Boff Whalley.
