I trained with Frankie Armstrong in the early 1990s . I’m a freelance community musician and have done lots of work within the healthcare system, including the Music Start Programme working with midwives and health visitors on the Isle of Wight, encouraging parents to sing with their babies before and after birth, This was evaluated by Stephen Clift of the Sidney de Haan Centre, who went on to evaluate and research more of our “Healing Arts” projects on the island.
I currently run Blue Sky Natural Voice Choir in Southampton, and I play the accordion and sing around care homes specialising in units for people with Alzheimer’s.
