Margaret Hunt

I love singing and enjoy sharing this passion because I see people respond and find great pleasure and satisfaction from making music with their own voice. Since 2013 I have led a small group known as Elston Voices. We have lively sessions on Tuesday afternoons in the Methodist Hall, in this village just off the A46 near Newark. We always sing unaccompanied from a variety of rounds, unison and 2/3/4/5 part songs. From My Bonnie to ABBA, Africa to Spain, old and new, we simply have fun and everyone says they feel good when they go home. No experience is needed, everything is taught by ear and it’s pay as you go, because we all have other commitments some weeks. Contact me for dates/time – all welcome.

I myself have sung in a choral society, a chamber choir and currently sing in various small groups of friends:  Byrdsong, Solfa Singers, Melismata, 5 Go Singing! and JAMB. And in the car, all the time!
