Mira Leiendecker is a singer and instrumentalist who has been involved in several different bands, a cappella groups and choirs. She offers harmony singing for small groups and big choirs and also does music sessions with children in nursery and primary schools.
Since she moved back to Mönchengladbach 2016 she runs several singing groups and choirs there, many of those in cooperation with Andi Jaeger, such as the women’s choir Heart Core and the mixed choir Komm und Sing which includes people with mental health issues. Mira and Andi sing together with seven other men and women in the a cappella ensemble Piece of Peace. They organize an annual singing holiday and recently started offering voice leader training in Germany as part of their newly developing German branch of the NVN.
Mira regularly runs workshops where she teaches her own arrangements of modern pop songs and new songs that she has gathered on her journeys through Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.
