Having spent many years singing in increasingly exclusive choirs, finding the Natural Voice philosophy in 2010 changed my view, practice and career entirely, widening my scope and focusing on inclusivity. I now aim to get people who usually sing in secret (in the car, shower, shed, with the vacuum) to come out and feel the joy of singing in harmony with others in a fun, non-judgemental and supportive atmosphere. My four Secret Singers groups and the Carers’ Chorus learn a common programme so that we can join together for singing events and socials. I am also director of The Readstone Singers, a more traditional ladies choir.
I am retiring from regular choir leading at the end of March 2022. New leaders have been found for my choirs and their details are listed with the choir details.
