I started a community choir in 2005 in my living room and it has grown into a strong welcoming community of singers. A range of styles of music are taught by ear sometimes supported with music on a page. We enjoy singing at small local festivals and in the community at care homes and for fund-raising events. We recently participated in workshop and mini-performance at Snape Maltings, Suffolk supporting a national project called ‘When we Collide’. This was hugely enjoyed by all and we’ve brought back some wonderful material to the group for sharing.
