Song: Cotelands Croydon Lullaby

This was written by the young mums (age 14-16years) as part of the CRISP Positive Activities for Young People (PAYP) project with teenage mums and mums-to-be. The girls wrote the words and tune, guided in songwriting by Sarah Fisher.

Teenage mums get a bad reputation in the UK but this wonderful specialist Pupil Referral Unit (Cotelands PRU in Croydon ) has places for 40 babies, and most mums become responsible mothers, retaining care of their infants and going on to achieve well educationally.

Funded by LB Croydon Cultural Services (sadly now closed).
