This is an arrangement that Charlie Durrant has written, which is inspired by Ella Fitzgerald’s rendition of Gershwin’s “Summertime”. This version tells the story of a summer fling; starting hopefully, blossoming under the summer sun, but ultimately fading as the summer ends.
The two harmony parts are fairly set, but the simple backing can be built upon by choir members as they like, to give the song added interest and individuality.
If you would like the individual parts, please contact Charlie on firstname.lastname@example.org
